📍 Zakopane – Strążyska Valley & Tatra Museum

As part of the Mokulito workshop “For the Love of the Tatra Mountains”, we also explored the natural world that inspired the students’ creative work. We had a guided walk through the Strążyska Valley with a motivational lecture. We further explored the flora and fauna of the Tatra Mountains in the Tatra Museum. It houses exhibitions on local wildlife, plants, and the ecosystems of the Tatras.
Seeing animals native to the region up close—such as lynx, marmots, and birds of prey—helped students understand the delicate balance of the mountain environment and why it’s important to consider nature not just as inspiration, but as something we actively protect.
This mid-week activity was about connecting art to place, and sustainability to everyday choices, reinforcing the project’s central message: that creativity and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
