We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership project, Three Voices in Green (TVIG), bringing together Střední uměleckoprůmyslová škola Jihlava-Helenín (Czechia), Państwowe Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych im. Antoniego Kenara w Zakopanem (Poland), and Súkromná škola umeleckého priemyslu (Slovakia). Funded by the European Union, this inspiring project will run from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2026, and aims to foster innovation in sustainability through art and design education.
Focus and Priorities
The TVIG project addresses the Erasmus+ green priority, emphasizing the fight against climate change and the promotion of sustainability. By integrating eco-art, sustainable design practices, 3D printing, and virtual reality (VR) into educational curricula, the project seeks to prepare students and educators for a future where art and sustainability go hand in hand.
Key objectives include:
- Adapting curricula to meet labor market needs with a focus on green skills.
- Introducing participants to sustainability concepts and enabling them to develop their own sustainability plans.
- Enhancing skills in sustainable art and design using sustainable art techniques and modern technologies such as 3D printing and VR.
Workshops and International Mobilities
Participants from all three partner countries will engage in dynamic learning, teaching, and training activities (LTTs) across multiple locations:
- Poland (March 2025): Workshops on eco-friendly graphic technique the Mokulito wood printing method, and creative use of recycled materials.
- Slovakia (October 13–17, 2025): Activities exploring 3D printing with sustainable materials.
- Czechia (March 23–27, 2026): Sessions focusing on VR applications in sustainable design.
These events are supported by interactive online eTwinning activities, field trips, lectures or workshops for teachers.
Expected Outcomes
The project will deliver:
- A booklet on sustainable art and design, including factsheets, CLIL worksheets, and video tutorials.
- An innovative Week of Sustainability methodology for long-term impact on education.
- Opportunities for students and educators to become leaders in sustainable art and design practices.
