Střední uměleckoprůmyslová škola Jihlava-Helenín presented Three Voices in Green (TVIG), at the VET Forum 2024.
The VET Forum 2024 is an annual flagship event for vocational education and training (VET) in the Czech Republic, organized by Dům zahraniční spolupráce (DZS), the Czech National Agency for Erasmus+. This year’s forum took place on October 24, 2024, at Hotel Pyramida in Prague.
The event featured expert presentations, interactive workshops on best practices in sustainability, and networking sessions, offering participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. Attendees also explored international activities by VET schools, highlighting their efforts in sustainability.
The 2024 theme, “Pathway to Environmental Sustainability in International Erasmus+ Projects,” focused on key topics such as climate education, circular economy, renewable energy, and strategies to integrate green practices into Erasmus+ projects and daily organizational operations.
Three students of Graphics Design prepared the whole presentation. They presented both the newly started TVIG project and the school’s previous projects focused on sustainability.
There was a gamified Kahoot quiz & survey with fascinating sustainability facts.
The visitors could also take home eco-friendly bookmarks for creating their own personal sustainability plans. These were printed using the school’s new RISO printing technology. RISO is an environmentally friendly process that uses soy-based inks, masters made from sustainable fibers, and consumes less energy compared to traditional printing.
